Tracy Ashfield has more than 30 years of experience in Mortgage Banking management. Before she formed Ashfield & Associates, she held a variety of management positions in the credit union industry. She has served as the Senior Executive for Mortgage Development at CUNA Mutual (now Tru Stage) and the Senior Vice President of Operations of CUNA Mortgage Corporation. She also worked with CMG Mortgage Insurance Co. ( now ArchMI).

Over the past two decades Ashfield was instrumental in the growth and development of the American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA), the nation’s leading mortgage-lending trade association. In 2020 and 2021 she served as its President.

In addition, Ashfield worked for three years as the Executive Vice President for Prime Alliance Solutions, Inc., then one of the nation’s largest CUSOs committed to providing a family of solutions to help credit unions excel at real estate lending.

Ashfield is a sought-after speaker and guest lecturer for mortgage banking groups and various credit union organizations. She is the co-author of “Credit Union Mortgage Strategies: The Best Never Rest” and has written numerous articles on credit union lending strategies. She is also a frequent contributor to credit union periodicals.

Ashfield received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance and Sociology from the University of New Hampshire. She is a Graduate of the School of Mortgage Banking, Washington, D.C.
